The design of the library is expressed through the north-south axis, which is cutting the site, orientated to the Radar of the Madrid-Barajas Airport, a very singular element of identification of Paracuellos de Jarama, and at the same time limiting the heights of the entire urban center.
Series of cross-cutting skylights and the longitudinal ramp which develops this axis, invite, together with the existing drop, to play with mezzanine floors in the building.
Beginning with the access created as a plaza with a side grandstand, which is solving the strong drop, it creates a multifunctional space, being continued in the inside of the building…
