The implemented interventions were the consolidation of the existing metal structure beyond the floor structure of the terrace and its waterproofing, to avoid filtrations, which has been the main reason throughout several years for the progressive corrosion of the laminated steel trusses.
Because of the need of removing the external enclosure of brickworks covering the structure, we decided to replace this façade to a ventilated glazed façade, allowing the visualization of the structure and its preservation.
